The Pumpkin Patch Near Danville That's Open on a Tuesday
Danville doesn’t have a pumpkin farm of its own, so every October the question is how far you’re willing to drive and on which day. The nearest full one is about 15 minutes down 680 in Dublin, and it’s open every day the season is running, Monday and Tuesday included.
- About 15 minutes from Danville

On the Iron Horse Trail
There’s no BART station in Danville, so the train isn’t a way to get there from home. The Iron Horse Trail is the real connection: the park district’s route takes it into downtown Danville, then south through San Ramon and on to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART, minutes from the farm.
What a Danville family actually spends
What's Free and What's Ticketed
Free: The Patch, Parking and the Movie
You pay nothing to park, nothing to walk the patch, and nothing for the family movie that plays every night at 6pm. Always PG, and the titles aren’t announced ahead of time.
Ticketed: The Fun Zone, from $23
A 90 minute session at $23 per child plus $5 adult entry, covering the bounce houses, the giant corn pit, the pedal car speedway, the arcade and the barnyard.
Pumpkins and $5 Add-Ons
Orange smalls $6.00, orange larges $13.50, priced per pumpkin rather than by weight. The $5 single attractions are each their own ticket, so you aren’t buying a bundle to get one thing.
After 5pm the farm changes
The Evening Is the Reason to Come
The Rowdy Jack Trail opens at 5pm and is lit every night the farm is open. There is no daytime walk through it. The blacklight mini golf runs into the evening as well, and the tractor train starts at 4pm. A pumpkin patch at 11am can be a twenty minute stop. The 6pm version of the same farm is an evening out.
