Getting to KR Farms from San Ramon
Driving is the way from San Ramon. Starting from Bishop Ranch or City Center you’re on the 680 on-ramp within a couple of minutes, and for most of San Ramon the farm is a straight shot south with one exit at the end of it.
🚗
By Car: About 12 Minutes
Take 680 south, exit Dublin Blvd, and the farm is right at the corner of Dublin Blvd and Arnold Rd. Parking is free and on site.
🚆
By BART: No San Ramon Station
San Ramon has no BART station, which is what catches people out planning a car-free trip. The nearest is Dublin/Pleasanton, the end of that line, and the farm is minutes from it. Useful if you’re already riding, not much help from a San Ramon driveway.

The Part That Only Happens After Dark
The Rowdy Jack Trail opens at 5pm and is lit every night the farm is open. There is no daytime walk through it. Blacklight mini golf runs after dark too, and the tractor train starts at 4pm. Each is a $5 ticket on its own, so you buy the one your kids actually want.
Questions from San Ramon Families
Is there a pumpkin patch in San Ramon?
There are a handful of seasonal pumpkin spots in San Ramon and a historic farm park, checked on 8 October 2026. What there isn’t is a farm with a ticketed activity zone and an evening trail. That’s the trade you’re making with the 12 minute drive: a different kind of visit, not a better version of the same one.
Can we skip the tickets and just get pumpkins?
Yes, and plenty of the farm is set up for exactly that. Entry and parking cost nothing, so a trip can be the pumpkins and nothing more. The Fun Zone and the $5 attractions are separate purchases, not an entry fee.
How late can we arrive on a weeknight?
Monday to Thursday the farm closes at 8pm, so arriving by about 6 gives you the lit trail from 5pm and the movie at 6. Friday it runs to 9pm. If the trail is the thing you’re coming for, there’s no point arriving before 5, because it doesn’t open earlier.
Can we bring the dog?
In the patch, yes. Not into the Fun Zone.
How does the Fun Zone work?
It’s a 90 minute session, $23 per child plus $5 adult entry, and the time slot is chosen at checkout. Sessions are limited to keep the zone uncrowded. Walking the patch needs no ticket at all.
Twelve minutes to fall.
Open daily Sept 26 through Nov 1, with an early 4pm close on Halloween. The Fun Zone and the $5 attractions are time slotted at checkout, so pick your slot before you head down 680.
